Burhan Khan started his career with Citibank, Pakistan, in 1983 as a management trainee and held various senior management positions in the Corporate and Consumer Banking businesses. Burhan played an instrumental role in implementing various business strategies for the Bank in Pakistan and in 1996 moved to Citibank Australia as the Head of Distribution and became the Head of Compliance later.

Burhan later joined Standard Chartered Bank in UAE, as the Head of Consumer Banking and in year 2000 moved to ABN Amro as the Head of Consumer Banking for ABN AMRO he successfully grew the consumer banking business for ABN Amro in this role for 12 years. In his last role in the Banking industry Burhan worked as a senior consultant to the Chairman on Consumer Banking for Commercial International Bank, Egypt. In 2014, he joined First Solutions as the Chairman.

In his various roles in different geographies, Burhan conceived strategies and then implemented them for growing banking businesses. He has been involved in many re-engineering processes committees and has also re-strategized the growth path for various companies successfully.

He brings both Operational and Business experience of over 32 years in various multinational banks.
