Salman Naqvi is a veteran with an experience of over forty years. He started his professional journey as a freelance auto salesman in 1979.  In 1983, Salman joined Iqbal Nanjee and company as a Surveyor. He was responsible for carrying out valuations, surveys, and various collateral inspections and played an integral part in the safe handling and delivery of various liquid cargo. In 1986 Salman joined Towellers Ltd and was appointed as General Manager of a subsidiary concern operating in Srilanka. In 1996, he joined Saftex Corporation as Managing Partner. He established a commercial export house engaged in the export of home textile products and obtained orders amounting to USD 250,000 within four months from its commencement. Salman later moved on to join one of the leading and fastest-growing banks in Pakistan, ABN AMRO and served in multiple roles. At ABN Amro Bank, he headed a very successful Assets and Liability book. From 2005 till 2010, Salman was with NIB Bank Ltd, and his last assignment was as the Retail Head for the Bank. He then joined KASB bank as the Group Head of Branch Banking. From September 2016 onwards, he’s been associated with First Solution and is responsible for Pakistan’s business.
